A Living Period Piece

Riverwood Cottage was lovingly fully restored in 2020 by owners Barry and Christine. Originally built in 1916, the cottage was part of Sunnydale Mill established by Sir MacPherson Robertson (Founder of MacRobertsons Confectionary who created the Freddo Frog, Old Gold, Snack, Columbines and Cherry Ripe before being sold to Cadbury in 1967).

Its or purpose was housing for workers of The Federal Cask Company who produced staves for barrels that were used to store the glucose used in the manufacturing of MacRobertsons confectionary.
